The Gympie Camera Club gathers at the Gympie Regional Shire Public Gallery, Nash Street, the first Tuesday of every month at 7:15 pm for the monthly competition.
Each third Monday of the month at 7:15 pm, the club holds a practical night where members can have photos critiqued, learn Photoshop techniques, and to take your photography to the next level.
Both club meeting and practical night meetings run for approximately 2 hours, and afterwards enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or milo and some nibblies and lively conversation with other like-minded people.
A camera club outing is usually planned each month, usually on the second Sunday of the month, but this date is not set in concrete and can be changed to suit. Club members are encouraged to share their photos taken on that day at the practical night for either critique or simply to share. This is usually done on digital media and viewed via the projector.
